Laylo, AddEvent, OnDrop: which tool to remind people about a drop?

If you only want your customers to have the date in their calendar, release.wtf costs 29 € a year, with no cap on adds. If you want to collect their numbers and send them SMS, you need Laylo. If your store is on Shopify and you want to track sales per drop, look at OnDrop.

Prices read on each tool's site on 30/10/2026.

Which one to choose

release.wtf

You want a drop page and several reminders on your fans' phones, with no app to install, on any site. One add or ten million: the price stays the same.

Laylo

You want to collect numbers and send SMS or DMs. Messages are paid on top of the subscription.

OnDrop

Your store is on Shopify and you want a native block in your theme. Its Brand plan, at $299 a year, adds sales per drop.

AddEvent or AddCal

You mostly run events with sign-ups, where RSVP matters as much as the reminder.

What release.wtf doesn't do

No SMS, no email to fans, no contact collection. On Google Calendar, the fan's own reminder settings apply.
